ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police are searching for four suspects after a teenager was shot in the leg in north St. Louis on Friday night.
The shooting happened in the 2000 block of East Prairie Ave. around 11:15 p.m.
Authorities say the 18-year-old victim was attacked by four unknown suspects, one of whom was armed with a pistol. The armed suspect struck the victim in the head, according to police, and a struggle ensued.
The suspect reportedly fell to the ground, then fired several shots at the victim as he fled. The victim suffered a graze wound to his upper thigh, and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
A police investigation into the attack is ongoing.
