St. Louis has an official Baby New Year. Her name is Margot. 

Margot was born at 12:06 a.m. Thursday at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. 

Her mother, Aude-Helene Capietto, was the first to give birth in the St. Louis area for the 2014 calendar year. 

Margot checked in at 5 lbs, 2 ozs.
