(KMOV) - Firefighters were called to battle a blaze at a home in north St. Louis early Wednesday morning.
According to authorities, the fire started at a home in the 4900 block of Alcott Ave. near Lillian Ave. around 2 a.m. When officials arrived on the scene, flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the home.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire within one hour of arriving to the scene.
Officials say the home was unoccupied.
A cause for the fire is under investigation.
