(KMOV) – A Ferguson man faces charges in the fatal hit-and-run wreck of a teenager in north St. Louis County Saturday night.
Redmond Harris, 47, was arrested Sunday and charged with second-degree involuntary manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while revoked. His bond was set at $45,000.
According to police, 17-year-old Cedric Marion was crossing Chambers near Green Valley around 7:40 p.m. when he was struck by Harris, who was driving a Chevrolet Silverado.
Harris then fled the scene. Marion was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities said authorities later identified Harris after a witness reported his license plate.
