(KMOV.com) -- Four people, including two children, escaped a two-alarm fire that destroyed their northern Jefferson County home Sunday evening.
Firefighters said the blaze started in the garage of a home in the 20 block Dolores Drive around 5:45 p.m.
“It started in the garage, nothing that looks suspicious,” said firefighter Michael Arnhart.
The Red Cross responded to the scene and helped the family find a place to stay. No injuries were reported.
Authorities were still investigating the cause of the blaze.
