Dutchtown residents hope new housing reverses violent crime trend

(KMOV.com) -- Residents of a south St. Louis neighborhood are fighting back against troubling crime statistics.

In 2012, Dutchtown had more aggravated assaults, rapes and murders than any other neighborhood. But city officials hope new apartments with carefully screened tenants will help reverse the trend.
