ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- A semi truck accident caused traffic to halt on the MicKinley Bridge Thursday.
The bridge connects northern St. Louis and Venice, Il. Initial reports were that a car and two tractor trailers were involved, however Venice police have confimed the accident involved just one semi.
The truck jacknifed coming off the bridge andhit a power pole. Lanes were shut down as crews responded to the accident. For a time, wires were hanging over the road.
The scene is cleared as of 5:45 p.m. and all lanes are back open.
There are no reported injuries
