Police respond to burglary, property damage at Venice Cafe
South St. Louis (KMOV) – The owners of Venice Café say burglars broke into their business, stole money and damaged the building Saturday morning.
Police said the Venice Café, located on Pestalozzi, was broken into sometime early Saturday morning. The building’s owner believes the thieves got in through an open window on the second floor and forced their way through a door.
Along with the stolen money and damage, it was discovered a computer was also missing after the theft.
According to Venice Café’s Facebook page, the business has received an outpouring of support from the community.
