(KMOV.com) -- A Bonne Terre man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car in Washington County on Friday evening.
The accident happened on Route 8 near Old Highway 8 around 5:30 p.m.
George Carr, 69, was riding his motorcycle when he collided with the back of a vehicle that was stopped and attempting to turn left. Carr was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, 25-year-old Krista Heddy, was not injured in the crash.
Authorities did not release any further information on the accident.
