UPDATE: The boil order for Glen Carbon was lifted close to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Business and residences on two streets are still being impacted. Those on Carma Street and on the north end of Carolyn Drive will still have to boil water until further notice.
GLEN CARBON, IL (KMOV.com) – Even though the water main break in Glen Carbon has been fixed, a boil order is still in effect.
Businesses, like the A”Wooden Nickel Pub and Grill” are having to use bottled water and bring in bags of ice. The restaurant is using plastic ware when possible.
The EPA is going to test the water to see if it is safe to use. The results will be known on Sunday.
