(KMOV.com) -- All lanes of the Blanchette Bridge were open for Monday morning rush hour for the first time in months.
Crews wrapped up their work ahead of schedule, opening all eastbound and westbound lanes on Saturday.
Missouri Department of Transportation officials said that while all lanes are open, crews will continue to work under the bridge and in the area throughout the rest of the year.
While drivers can expect occasional lane closures, the closures will be midday and overnight. Drivers are advised to be prepared for a five-to-10 minute delay when they are in effect.
The $64 million Blanchette Bridge rehab project has taken 10 months to complete. The project was supposed to last until November.
MoDot over the weekend posted a note on its website saying “thanks for your patience” during the construction period.
