BALLWIN, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police have two suspects in custody this morning following the discovery of a meth lab at a Ballwin apartment complex.
According to police, around 7:00 p.m. Friday a call came in about drug related activity in the 200 block of Solon Drive in Ballwin, Mo. Upon arriving at the residence, police say that two people fled from them on foot, but were arrested after a short chase.
Investigators say they discovered various chemicals relating to the manufacture of methamphetamine inside the suspects’ apartment. As a precaution, police evacuated residents of nearby apartments for a short time.
Currently, one suspect is in police custody. The second suspect is in an area hospital, following reports of breathing issues.
