(KMOV.com) -- On Wednesday Jennifer Boehme said she got a call from an unknown number. The caller said he worked for AT&T and wanted to upgrade Boehme’s DSL to U-verse. The only problem is she already had U-verse.
“He asked me for my name and I gave him a fake name and he kept calling me that fake name,” said Boehme.
The man did not stop there. He asked the woman for an email address. He sent her some documents that AT&T called a scam.
The Better Business Bureau said they have heard of the caller before in face they are looking into similar cases in St. Louis.
