(KMOV.com) — It’s a scene reminiscent of an Alfred Hitchcock thriller.

Swarms of birds are invading an English village.
Bird lovers say this mass movement of about 20,000 Starlings is a spectacle of nature.
Unless you live underneath their flight path.
Daily showers of bird muck are drenching everything below.
Many have resorted to walking with umbrellas to protect themselves from droppings.
“If you are walking about when they’re up there - you are gonna get covered in poo!” said resident Keith Taylor.
The migrating birds are a protected species They have been roosting in hedges since January. Bylaws prohibit cutting the hedges until July.
