St. Louis, Mo. (KMOV) – St. Louis police are looking for suspects after a shooting left two people dead in west St. Louis.

Police responded to the 5800 block of Cabanne Ave around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning and found the two victims dead. The victims were later identified the victims as Tony Jordan, 32, and Jessica Thompson, 25. According to investigators, the incident started as an argument between Thompson and another man. Jordan, who worked as the building's groundskeeper, heard the fight and tried to break it up.

Witnesses say the man left the apartments, but came back and shot Jordan in the face, head, and neck and shot Thompson in the face.

Police said the suspect took off in a dark colored Dodge Magnum and are still at large.

Many friends and relatives held a vigil Saturday night in honor of Jordan who was the father of five children.
