OXFORD, Miss. (AP) -- Two University of Mississippi students died Saturday in a wreck on Mississippi Highway 7 near University Avenue in Oxford.

Lafayette County Deputy Coroner Glenn Coleman says the wreck took place about 5 a.m. not far from the Ole Miss campus. All four people in the car were Ole Miss students.

Coleman says the vehicle went off the highway, onto the median and rolled over at least once.

The driver was taken to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. Another passenger was at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Their conditions aren’t known.

Coleman says the victims were 20-year-old Chistopher J. Grimaud of St. Louis and 18-year-old Kevin J. Eagan of St. Charles, Mo.  Both were pronounced dead at the scene around 5 a.m.

Oxford police are investigating the accident.
