17-year-old charged for allegedly robbing BP gas station

(KMOV) – A 17-year-old was charged with one count of attempted robbery after he allegedly tried to rob a BP gas station.

Police say Daniel McSkimming, 17, tried to rob the BP gas station at 11940 Tesson Ferry. According to authorities, McSkimming entered the gas station, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money before fleeing the scene.

McSkimming was captured on video and was able to be identified. He has been arrested and is being held on $20,000 bail.

The investigation is ongoing.
