ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV) -- Two eastbound lanes were shut down on a section of Interstate 70 after a vehicle overturned on the Blanchette Bridge in St. Charles County on Tuesday.
Al Nothum with the Missouri Highway Patrol said as many as six to eight vehicles could be involved in the incident on eastbound Interstate 70. The bridge connects St. Charles and St. Louis counties.
St. Charles officials confirm seven people were taken to the hospital.
Crews worked to clear the scene and had all lanes reopened by about 4:20 p.m.
The cause of the wreck is not yet known.
