NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says a Donald Trump presidential candidacy would be great for the news media.
The independent mayor was asked Monday about Trump's possible bid for the GOP nomination. He was less than enthusiastic, saying the wealthy real estate developer and reality TV host has a right to run just like anyone else born in the U.S. who's over age 35.
Trump says he plans to decide by June whether to run for president.
Former Marine, Nick McLaughlin from St. Charles, Missouri started is leading a grass roots campaign to elect Donald Trump for president.
Nick McLaughlin pins the key points of Trump’s possible election campaign, such as energy, the economy and foreign affairs.
Bloomberg says Trump would generate lots of headlines and buy lots of advertising, which might save the jobs of some journalists.
The billionaire mayor has been thought to have presidential ambitions but has always decided against making a run.
