(KMOV)—Fire crews battled a fire at a laundromat and an auto collision repair shop early Friday morning on the 4200 block of West Natural Bridge Road in north St. Louis.
Fire officials said the two businesses were housed in the same building and that most of the damage was to the roof. Cox Self Service Laundry and Storm Auto Collision Repair were both closed when the flames broke out.
After an initial investigation, fire officials determined the fire was set intentionally. Police on the scene said the suspects who set the fire actually caught on fire themselves. According to authorities, the suspects were taken to the hospital for treatment.
There is no word on the extent of any injuries and officials said the investigation will continue.
