(KMOV.com) -- Reports are rolling in from viewers around the area that they felt the earth move Saturday evening, and an earthquake in Oklahoma is to blame.
The US Geological Survey is reporting a 5.6 magnitude quake struck about 44 miles east-north-east of Oklahoma City at 10:53 p.m. Saturday.
According to the USGS, the quake was at a depth of 3.1 miles and was the ninth quake in this area in the past 24 hours.
The quake was felt across the midwest, in the St. Louis area and as far south as Dallas, Texas.
