(KMOV.com) -- The YMCA held their 35th annual book fair this weekend to benefit youth and literacy programs in St. Louis County.

The YMCA said each year the book fair offers a wide range of new and quality used books at reasonable prices.

“We provide free reading and tutoring to kids and adults in our youth programs who are at least one grade level behind in reading,” said Director of Community Literacy for the YMCA Caroline Mitchell, “So it’s a really great program.”

The YMCA book fair has raised more than $1.5 million so far.
