ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are searching for a woman who robbed a bank in Overland on Thursday.
Authorities said the suspect, who was wearing pink pants, walked into the US Bank inside a Schnucks supermarket in the 9000 block of Overland Plaza around 1:15 p.m.
Police said she handed a note demanding money to the teller and implied she had a gun, but did not show one. She fled the store after receiving an unknown amount of cash.
In addition to the bright pink pants, the woman was wearing sunglasses, a dark long-sleeve top and tennis shoes. Police said she appeared to be in her mid 30s with a medium build.
Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS. A reward of up to $1,000 will be offered for an arrest.
