(KMOV)-- A woman was charged for running over her ex-boyfriend twice in a parking lot in front of the Clayton County Jail.

Marilyn Cork, 51, was charged with Assault 1st  and Armed Criminal Action.

According to the Clayton Police Department, Cork and her 40-year-old ex-boyfriend were in court over a $500 loan the woman gave the man. After the court appearance, Cork allegedly attacked her ex-boyfriend with her car, hitting him twice and pinning him against another vehicle. He was taken to Barnes Hospital in serious condition.

The man brought his new girlfriend to the case. No word if this initiated the attack.

Cork is being held at the St Louis County Justice Center. Bond has been set at $250,000 cash only.
