EDWARDSVILLE — An Alton woman could get up to 50 years in prison after she pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree murder in the death of her 22-month-old stepson.
Jami Renee Anderson, 29, of the 3100 block of Fernwood Avenue, Alton, pleaded guilty in exchange of a prosecution agreement to seek no more than 50 years in a case in which she slammed the child’s head into a doorframe on March 8.
