ALTON - Three runaways from the Catholic Children's Home allegedly attacked a Christian Hill woman Tuesday night, shoved her into the trunk of her car and knocked her unconscious when she fought the youths.
The 35-year-old woman suffered head trauma and contusions on her face and body from the attack, which happened about 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of William Street, by Carroll Street.
She was treated at Saint Anthony's Hospital and released, police said Wednesday.
