Webster Groves bank robbery caught on camera

Webster Groves (KMOV) – Authorities in Webster Groves are investigating a brazen bank robbery just before noon on Friday.

Investigators say that the incident happened at 11:41 at the Commerce Bank located at 8050 Big Bend Boulevard.

Police say the suspect entered the bank, approached a bank employee and displayed a gun hidden in a folder and demanded money. The incident was captured on bank security cameras.
 
The man took the money and fled the scene. No one was injured.
 
The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, 5’10” to 6’ tall with a medium build. He was wearing khaki colored pants, a grey hooded sweatshirt and a white New York Yankees baseball cap.

what does catching a NNY cap on camera prove? aren't they looking for the guy that's wearing it. that's a better shot of the teller's head than of the perp.

This is one of those Banks right near a Hwy (44). He was headed away at 70 mph in minutes. (ESTL, my bet)

Yeah, I believe this same Bank got robbed a while back. If the Horse finds water in the well.........He also finds Mad's manure Wagon!
