BALLWIN, Mo.  (KMOV) – Emergency street crews were working to contain a major water main break that had lanes of Manchester closed in St. Louis County early Monday morning.

St. Louis County Police say the pavement was buckling at Manchester and Dietrich Road after a water main broke around 5:30 a.m.

Lanes heading in both directions of Manchester were closed between Mason and Weidman as crews worked to fix the break and roadway.
