(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis Blues fans applauded and chanted "U-S-A! U-S-A!" during Friday night's game after receiving word that the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing had been taken into custody.

Midway through the second period of the game at Scottrade Center, breaking news came over the jumbotron, directed to the nearly sold-out crowd.

Later in the game, Neil Diamond's hit song, "Sweet Caroline", was also played to honor the victims of the bombing.

The Blues went on to win Friday night's game against the Dallas Stars 2-1.
