Warrenton (KMOV) – A 50-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly raped a woman on June 10.

Tony H. Mann is charged with Forcible Rape and Tampering with a Victim after an investigation led Warren County Sheriff Department Officers to believe that he raped a 28-year-old Warrenton woman.
The charges originated after off-duty WCSD Deputy Eric Schleuter was driving home from work and observed the victim walking on South Highway 47 near College around 6 a.m. in Warrenton.
Schleuter said the victim seemed upset, so he asked if she needed assistance. She told Schleuter that she had been raped.
WCSD Detective Aaron Sutton was contacted to handle the investigation and determined that Mann had transported the victim to a location east of Warrenton to go swimming.
When the victim requested to leave, Mann attempted to pull her into the pool. She then fell and fractured her wrist.
Once on the ground Mann forcibly removed her clothing, punched her several times, and began to have forcible intercourse with her.
The tampering with a victim charge is the result of Mann threatening the safety of the victim and her family if she reported the incident.
