St. Louis (KMOV) - A tram that takes passengers to the top of The St. Louis Arch lost power and became stuck around 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
A manager at the Arch told KMOV that an unkown amount of passengers were stuck for about one hour before exiting the tram at 3:30 p.m.
After exiting the tram passengers waited at the top until a new tram was sent up to retrieve them.
A paramedic was sent to the top to tend to anyone who was injured. A St. Louis Firefighter at the scene told KMOV that one passenger had a panic attack and passed out. He did not report any further serious injuries.
Anybody who purchased tickets to ride later Thursday afternoon are being refunded.
