ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The Partnership for Downtown St. Louis is hosting what they call a “Virtual Career Fair” on Thursday.

St. Louis area companies are invited to use Twitter to post internship and job openings, as well as provide career advice. Area college and university students are encouraged to seek out those opportunities through the social media website.

This is how it works: A local business can post their opening on Twitter with a short link to the job description. The tweet must end with the hash tag #collegeday.

From there, students are encouraged to use the Twitter search field to find the job postings using the #collegeday search term.

The virtual even runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, a free reception will be held at the City Museum at 5:30 p.m.

For further information and to register for the reception, visit the Downtown St. Louis website.
