EAST ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Police have identified the victims involved in a murder-suicide in East St. Louis Thursday night.
According to police, the situation began as a domestic dispute between a man and his wife and daughter at their home in the 700 block of 75th Street.
Police said during the argument, Bobby Stewart, 69, a shot his wife, Dorothy McCaskill, 66, and his daughter.
The daughter, who was shot twice in the leg, ran outside the home screaming and told neighbors and police that her father came downstairs with a handgun and opened fire.
She said McCaskill had been shot and was still in the house.
Stewart barricaded himself in the home with the remaining victim and police surrounded the house and called in a tactical team, which entered through the basement.
