KIRKWOOD, Mo. (KMOV) -- The phrase real men wear pink took on special meaning wednesday night at St. John Vianney High School.

The griffin wrestlers hosted their second annual “take down against cancer” night.

The team wore pink and white singlets. Before the meet they sold bracelets and t-shirts to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge.

The event comes just weeks after Vianney’s basketball team raised more than $7,000 supporting cancer patients.
