(KMOV) – AT&T and Verizon Wireless are looking to fill numerous positions throughout the St. Louis area.

AT&T is looking to fill more than 50 positions in Collinsville, Fenton, Chesterfield, St. Louis and at more area locations.

Verizon says it has immediate openings in the St. Louis area, looking to fill at least 25 full time positions.  The company says most of the jobs are in the retail stores, but some positions in the corporate office are also available.

The positions include health care coverage, tuition reimbursement, and participation in its 401 (k) retirement plan.

Mike Lovasco, a district manager in the St Louis area, says the company will match an employee’s contribution, dollar for dollar, up to six percent.

Lovasco says the company is especially interested in talking to military veterans about the open positions.

“What we’ve found is in the military, they receive a lot of the training with technology and also instill the same values here at Verizon," he said.
