ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- A vacant apartment building in downtown St. Louis isn’t just becoming an eyesore, it’s presenting a danger to anyone walking near it.

Building debris from the Plaza Square Apartments was scattered on the ground for more than a week, and more may fall at any time.

Plaza Square Apartments building five is just a couple blocks north of the Scottrade Center. It’s currenlty for sale and the sale is pending.

That’s complicating the issue.  News 4 went to City Hall to find out who’s responsible for cleaning it up and keeping city residents safe.
