(KMOV) - The Village of Uplands Park recently began using a special photo-enforcement radar manned by a police officer.

Drivers in the community of less than 500 are complaining about the speed camera operated by a police department in north St. Louis County.

A MoDOT spokesperson said the agency is investigating whether Uplands Park’s cameras fall into any of the zones the cameras can legally be in. Those zones include: school zones, work zones and roads with a high incidence of crashes.
