UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (KMOV) – The University City High School administrators plan to update parents, staff members on the district’s current safety and security measures Thursday night.
The meeting will take place during the district’s school board meeting starting at 7 p.m. in the Ronald E. McNair Administration Building located at 8136 Groby Road.
“While no amount of planning can guarantee that a tragedy like what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School will not occur, we are doing everything in our power to keep our students and staff safe,” said Joylynn Pruitt, superintendent of schools.
District administrators will also discuss future plans, recommended changes and the program’s overall evaluation.
