ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo (KMOV.com) – Winfield police chased suspects into O’Fallon Monday night after narcotics officers attempted to pull over two 17 year olds.

Authorities say they were staking out a known drug house when two people came out. Police tried to pull them over but they fled.

Winfield officers pursued the suspects and requested backup. The suspects reportedly reached speeds of 100 miles per hour. At some point in the pursuit, the car was spike stripped, ending up in the parking lot of Mercy Hospital on Hwy K in O’Fallon.

Two 17-year-olds in the car were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Synthetic drugs were found in the car. Police originally started watching the house after neighbors complained.
