TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police say thieves broke into two local churches early Monday morning, and made off with some electronics.

According to Town and Country Police, just before 1 am someone broke into the Gateway Christian Church on Des Peres Road.

A window was found open but police believe the alarm scared the suspects away. Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, located nearby, was also hit.

A window was found pried open and two laptops along with a TV were found missing.

Police tell News 4 they believe the suspects were after electronics specifically, and the same thieves broke into both churches.
