HIGH RIDGE, MO (KMOV) -- The St. Louis Attorney’s Office issued warrants on two men involved with an attempted bank robbery Wednesday.
John D. Morris, 49, and Kenneth Bentrup, 48, both of the 2800 block of Maplewood Court in High Ridge, are charged with Robbery in the Second Degree. The bond amount for each is $35,000.
Morris and Bentrup were attempting to rob Lindell Bank, located at 3921 Hampton, in St. Louis.
After the arrest, St. Louis police interviewed both Morris and Bentrup, and the pair admitted involvement in another robbery; Regions Bank, located at 999 Bowles, in unincorporated St. Louis County.
