ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) -- A man and woman are facing charges for allegedly running a prostitution ring out of hotel rooms in suburban St. Louis and Springfield, Mo.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 20-year-old Samantha Leigh Ginocchio of St. Louis County and 27-year-old Michael Andrapolis Johnson were charged Wednesday with promoting prostitution and trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation. Johnson's address was not known.

Authorities say the pair recruited two women, ages 18 and 19, into prostitution, set up their appointments and negotiated payments. Authorities also accuse Ginocchio of preparing Internet ads for the women.
