(KMOV)-- Some residents who live in one north St. Louis neighborhood will take on a major developer and the city Tuesday morning.

They are suing over the plan by developer Paul McKee to redevelop a 400 acre zone in north St. Louis.

Homeowners there are hoping to stop the project.

One resident said the city was wrong when it designated her neighborhood as blighted so that eminent domain can be used to take over that property.

The trial starts at 11 a.m.
