BERKELEY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police and emergency crews closed all lanes of traffic after a vehicle overturned on northbound Interstate 170 on Friday night, injuring the vehicle's driver and two passengers.
The accident happened on Interstate 170, near Airport Road, around 9 p.m.
The vehicle flipped upside down on the interstate median. Police said the driver tried to exit the interstate on Airport Road, but was apparently traveling too fast and lost control of the vehicle.
Berkeley police said the driver suffered serious injuries, and two passengers were also injured in the crash. Police did not release the conditions of the two passengers.
All lanes of northbound traffic were closed for more than an hour while police cleared the scene.
