ST. LOUIS—St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson says his department is pulling out all the stops in preparation for three World Series games at Busch Stadium.
The Cardinals play the Boston Red Sox on Saturday, Sunday and—if necessary—Monday.
Dotson says that police have learned a lot about securing large events since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and even more was learned after the attack at the Boston Marathon earlier this year.
Dotson says police will use video cameras, air monitors, extra officers and other measures to keep patrons at the World Series safe.
He says while there are no known terrorist threats targeting St. Louis, Dotson says agencies are preparing for all hazards.
