(KMOV) – Those wanting to see Lionel Messi and the Argentina National Team against Bosnia- Herzegovinia at Busch Stadium on November 18 can now buy their tickets.
Tickets to the match went on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Thursday at cardinals.com/soccer, the Busch Stadium box office and at (314)-345-9000.
The match is contingent on whether Bosnia-Herzegovinia makes the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. If they don’t, another team will be named at a later date.
Bosnia- Herzegovinia currently leads its group in UEFA World Cup qualifying but still has two games to play. They’re led by Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, Miralem Pjanic from Italian club Roma and former St. Louis University player Vedad Ibevsic who currently plays for Stuttgart in Germany.
Argentina, led by FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi, recently qualified for the 2014 World Cup.
“We are excited to return to St. Louis with another marquee match,” said Relevent Sports CEO Charlie Stillitano. “St. Louis has proven itself to be a premier soccer market and we have no doubt that that the area’s soccer fans, including the large Bosnian community, will come out in full-force.”
A special pre-sale for Cardinals season ticket holders and club VIPs began on Tuesday.
