Jefferson County
(KMOV)-- A three-year-old girl was found naked and alone along the roadway in rural Jefferson County.
Authorities said a passing motorist picked her up along Highway C Thursday morning and called the sheriff's department.
Cheyenne Biship is a child with high functioning autism. Her mother is a psychology student and had been up late working on a paper.
The family said Cheyenne used an unplugged space heater to boost herself over a 3-foot fence blocking the bedroom door, unlocked a deadbolt, went through the garage, and headed up to the highway.
Department of family services took not only Cheyenne from her parents but her 7-year-old sister Haley who was at school when this all happened.
