(KMOV)-- A teenage boy is hospitalized after what firefighters are calling a "suspicious" fire in South County.

This happened around 10 a.m. Monday on Cambridge Pointe Drive in Mehlville.

Authorities said a teenage boy who lived at the home was injured. He is in good condition.

Crews were on the scene of the two-story home for 4 hours.

Photos that a News 4 viewer sent in show flames were through the roof.

The fire endangered neighboring homes, which sustained siding and charring damage.
