(KMOV) – A teenager who was shot to death by someone inside a car in south St. Louis Wednesday afternoon was on his way to take a test when the shooting occurred.
Authorities say Brandon Treadwell, 19, was shot by a passenger in a black sedan while being chased in the 3500 block of Minnesota just after 12 p.m.
Police say Treadwell ran across Gravois to the 3100 block of S. Compton before collapsing in the front yard of a nearby vacant home.
Treadwell was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
According to James Clark with Better Family Life, Treadwell was on his way to take his General Education Development test.
