ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two suspects made off with pockets full of cash in an aggressive robbery at a south St. Louis White Castle early Wednesday morning.

According to reports, the robbery happened around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of South Kingshighway and Devonshire.

Police said two men with clothes over their faces and wearing hoods stormed into the restaurant and jumped over the service counter. Witnesses said one of the suspects was armed with a pistol.

The suspects were able to obtain approximately $388 from the cash register before fleeing the scene. They were last seen running away on foot.

Authorities said they have surveillance video of the incident, but are not yet prepared to release it. Investigators are working to identify the suspects and track them down.

Nobody reported any injuries.
